From the time I was hired as controller at Benchmark, I have enjoyed every minute. Benchmark's philosophy of quality, teamwork and integrity make me proud to be a part of this design build team. My role in the building process is always the same - watch the bottom line. This task is not taken lightly and is not only for our company but the clients we are servicing. Doing the best job we can for our owners is top priority. On a monthly basis the project managers and I compare budgets to actual job costs and analyze what is going right and where we can improve. Staying on top of the numbers is one of our key elements that set us apart from others and I enjoy the process thoroughly with each new project that comes through our door.
